The Andros Lakes Race is one of the most unique races in the Saigon area, where your experience is shaped by the blend of flat running paths, mixed terrain, and the stunning natural scenery of Da Lake.
Here, athletes have the opportunity to fully explore the Hồ Đá area within the grounds of the National University of Ho Chi Minh City, home to five large, cool, and almost pristine lakes that form a magnificent natural landscape. This area also features a distinctive running route stretching from a 600-metre distance for children to a 25-kilometre distance for runners who love a challenge.
Despite its focus on family spirit and community enjoyment, the race retains its dramatic and competitive nature, thanks to the participation of many famous athletes, school running teams, clubs and a large number of runners from all over.

WE ARE BUILDING A GREEN – CLEAN – SUSTAINABLE RACE
Andros Lakes Race is committed to delivering a sporting event that is not only beautiful in terms of experience, but also meaningful in terms of the environment. We work with partners and communities to achieve an environmentally friendly, safe and responsible race.
The green initiatives we implement include:
1. Reuse of Banners (Flags/Banners) We only reprint items with changed content. The organising committee makes maximum use of banners and signage from the previous season. We would like to express our gratitude to the sponsors who have supported this green initiative.
2. Recycled running shirt from Mude
3. Biodegradable bags from HRK All rubbish bags used at the event were biodegradable, sponsored by HRK.
4. Reuse of BIBs (Bib numbers) Last year, we did not print any new BIBs at all, but reused the old ones. We also reused the timing chips attached to the back of the BIBs for the athletes. We are the only running event in Vietnam currently using this method.
5. Clean Up Each year, one week before the race, athletes, children from orphanages and the Organising Committee will gather to clean up the area around Ho Da Lake.
ONE RUN - MANY VALUES
The Andros Lakes Race is a journey that combines:
Magnificent nature
The spirit of challenging oneself
The connection between family and community and society
Sustainable values and environmental responsibility
This is not just a race, but a celebration, a green journey, and a true festival for the Vietnamese running community.
